Growing up in India, I was introduced to yoga and spirituality at a very young age.
Initially, I thought it was a form of exercise to keep me healthy by contorting my body into challenging
poses. But as I delved deeper into the study of yoga, I learned that it is about bringing stillness to the mind, and building mental fortitude and flexibility. Yoga equips us with the tools required to break free from labels, fears of the past, and anxieties of the future.
As a teacher, my goal is to work with you on your spiritual growth so you can experience the countless benefits that yoga offers. My classes focus on slowing ourselves down and being present in the moment. We will work with different variations of asanas and make them achievable, no matter where you are in your yoga journey. With postures, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation, every class is structured to ensure you deepen your connection with your body, mind, and soul. This is your journey but you don’t have to travel alone.
