Morgan Canham

Morgan’s passion lies in empowering people to build awareness, agency, and strength in their bodies and minds through invigorating and supportive mindfulness and movement practices.

She is a 200hr RYT, amongst other various movement modalities, Nervous System Fitness Trainer, Meditation Facilitator, and Life Coach from Newport, Rhode Island. Morgan’s journey through movement and mindfulness began at an early age when she was introduced to yoga and dance at her Montessori school as well as The Plum Village Tradition of Buddhism through her mother. Through every phase of her life, movement and mindfulness have always been the constant.

She worked as a professional dancer for most of her adult life and found her own path as a Buddhist practitioner as a way to learn how to move through chronic stress and anxiety. Her personal philosophy is that movement is medicine and mindfulness is the light on our ever winding path through life. Morgan believes that the beauty of our yoga practice is that what we shed and then cultivate while on the mat helps us lead a more compassionate and present life off of the mat. Her hope as a teacher is to help guide others back to themselves so that they are able to live a life that is filled with joy, freedom, hope, and abundance. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
