Amelia Aburn

Amelia has been teaching yoga since 2015 after having fallen in love with the sense of  home she felt on the four corners of her mat.

She found the mindful awareness practices of yoga to soothe, ground, and re-center into her most authentic Self. She has been nourishing her loving relationship with yoga ever since, watching it evolve as she does, and continuing to learn and grow her spirituality as she shares the tools with others.

Inspired by various styles of yoga, she has landed in the Vinyasa tradition largely because of its fluidity and emphasis on breath as the foundation. She is also a mental health therapist, primarily working with teens/families, and brings her passion for mental health into her teaching. She sees the powerful impact yoga has in healing the many parts of the Self and feels strongly about yoga as a pathway for fostering self-acceptance and well-being.

She believes in having a healthy sense of humor, a really intentional playlist that makes people feel good, and burning palo santo for feeling light and clear.
