This fun and challenging workshop explores the foundations of arm balancing and gives you tips and tricks to get your wings open and your body off the ground. The workshop is designed to teach you how to do arm balances with greater mindfulness and ease, as we often over-rely on force when working on these poses rather than learning to understand the essential actions and movements.
In Take Flight we will be covering astavakrasana, galavasana, and titibasana and the transitions related to them.
Don’t worry, we will not be arm balancing all the whole class! The flow is curated to open the body to prepare for each pose. And as always, there will be options for beginners and more advanced practitioners so you can genuinely honor where you are at!
